The school has a robust careers’ guidance programme. This involves administering aptitude assessments from the Ministry of Labour in grade 9 and in grade 12.

The aptitude assessment from the University of Stellenbosch is guided by the Life Orientation Educator.

Grade 11s are sent to the biggest careers fair in Eswatini where institutions from all over the world are represented.

The Grade 11s go on an educational trip to Maropeng which includes some university tours. They are also exposed to some career guidance opportunities on this trip.

Enjabulweni have a work-shadow programme where our learners get to shadow a person in a career field that they might want to follow one day. This gives the learners an opportunity to see what these people do on a daily basis and decide if that’s the career field they would like to pursue in the future.

Various tertiary institutions visit our school to tell our learners about the opportunities available at higher education level. This gives learners insight into the various institutions which helps learners identify the type of institution they would like to enrol in one day.

Classroom discussions around careers and entry requirements to tertiary education. We use information brochures from different institutions for learners to explore the opportunities. Learners are also taught how to fill in application forms as well as calculate their APS.
