The grade 6 learners with their designated teachers, took a trip to Sugar Bay, located by Zinkwazi beach, South Africa. AThis is a traditional trip for Enjabulweni Grade 6 learners. The travels to and from Sugar Bay were full of excitement, laughter and a lot of ‘Sit Downs’, from the teachers.

Sugar Bay is a trip not to be missed. While at the ‘children and teens resort’, the learners were introduced to the counsellors – young adults from all walks of life who were named all sorts of wild names such as “ITunes”, “Pesto Sauce” and “Skips”.

The learners had a fun-packed week of adventures ranging from beach excursions, outdoor activities to indoor games. Another highlight were the packed meals throughout the day which kept them filled and ready for all the fun they experienced. 

The week at Sugar Bay allowed the children to learn more about themselves and their peers and some involved themselves with new interests that enabled them to grow as individuals. The learners thoroughly enjoyed their time at Sugar Bay Resort and, without a doubt, will want to experience it again.
